Week 3

Three weeks already. That's how much time we have dedicated to our bootcamp training. Making every minute count in order to meet up with our weekly deliverables.

This week is particularly interesting, it is Christmas and just like in most work places, offices have closed for the year or some, have taken days off to celebrate the holiday. We at sidehustle are not exempted from the cheer of the season.

As we get closer to the end, our Digital Marketing and Content Creation tasks was to ensure posts go out on social media according to the content calendar and the social media strategy. They were to create an end-to-end marketing plan for your startup, to launch full-scale in 4 week. It didnt finish there. They also had to ensure 100 users sign up with their emails on the landing page created by the FE (drive traffic)

How was this handful of task achieved? First they had the brilliant idea to create an E-book for free and share directly to the emails of those interested, that way they also have a record of the emails. This was important given the fact that our site is not functional for users to subscribe directly from. What a brilliant team they make.

Then of course, the almighty Graphic Designers who were to design flyers (infographics) according to content provided by the digital marketing team, for social media. As simple as an info graphic may seem, a lot of factors have to be taken into consideration in order to pass the message in an engaging manner, this was achieved by the team in a timely fashion.

Product Design (UI/UX) were to give 100% Completion of UI Design by the end of the week. Take feedback and improve your designs where necessary. And they delivered as usual. The tools used to do these were Figma, Miro and Notion.

The Backend Development team were to compete all the needed APIs this week. They achieved this using github and postman.

Data Analytics Worked on Sales Performace Analysis of competitive products in our industry, which is the hiring industry, they got relevant data online.

Customer Relationship Management were also to complete work 100% on the chatbot and ensure it is mounted by FE and tested by the QA. They also needed to create a Hubspot account, and set up an email marketing system for customers in collaboration with the digital marketing team.

The Hubspot account was created and emails uploaded, the same emails that Digital Marketing team curated from the free E-book giveaway.

Product management team continued to supervise every other team to ensure everyone was performing accordingly. Over all, this week took a little more sacrifice from us all, as other commitments related to the festive season had to be placed on hold till we were sure our deliverables were done with.

We can now pour ourselves a glass of wine, relax and enjoy like everyone else.

From team Jobinairee, we wish you compliments of the season.
